Find focus and think of what it is your are completing.
Why is it interesting?
You woke up this morning and came to work to do this. At the end of the day you will appreciate that you got something done, and getting it done will clear the way for other things to happen
Why are you doing it?
Other people are depending on you to be part of the team, however loose the team is. Besides, you said, or somebody else said that you would do it for them.
How can you do it and impress the boss?
Think of your future. What does the boss think of next time they need you to do something. Is your work good and on time? Is it a pain to work with you or get you to do something?
How quickly can you get it done?
Time is money. Overhead is money. There is a ton of other stuff waiting to get done after this.
Can it be broken into smaller parts?
It will be less intimidating if the small parts of a large whole seem more approachable.
Who are you doing it for?
They have hired you and you are responsible to them for the use of their money. They might be making important decisions based on what you are doing.
